An Introduction to Handmade Prints
This course offers both beginners and those experienced in other media the chance to try a variety of printmaking techniques, including monoprinting, relief printing (including linocuts), silkscreen, stencil, collograph and collage. Experiment and enjoy! Fee includes some materials.
Over the year this course offers an introduction to a range of print techniques, including monoprinting via drawing and with paint; relief printing from lino, polystyrene and silver card; making silkscreens and printing using stencils; and collograph with collage.
No previous knowledge or experience of printmaking is required, just the wish to have a go, enjoy yourself, and see what happens. Please bring an overall or large apron.
